Innovations in Green  - International Conference

The Green industry innovation programme is one of the most prosperous Norway Grants’ programme in Hungary. There are altogether 39 projects supported by the Green industry innovation programme out of which 14 projects have already been completed successfully and 25 projects are still under implementation.

To encourage bilateral cooperation and enhance professional dialogue between the Norwegian and Hungarian parties, Szent István University has initiated a conference entitled “Innovations in Green”. It will be held at Knowledge Transfer Center – Szent István University, Gödöllő, between the 27 - 29th of October 2016.

The mission of the conference is the exchange of experiences of the Norway grants – Green industry innovation programmes in other Beneficiary States and the presentation of researches, projects, best practices by experts from universities and other entities from Norway and Hungary relating to green innovations. In addition projects financed by the Norway grants in Hungary and the new EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021 programme period will be presented.

Among about 150 invitees there will be representatives from organisations related to Norway grants from Norway; from other Beneficiary states and from Hungary; project promoters and their project partners; experts from relevant Norwegian and Hungarian universities, research institutions, companies.

Closure of the evaluation of applications submitted to Green industry innovation programme in Hungary

The evaluation of applications submitted in 2016 to the call for proposals  entitled „Reduced production of waste and emissions to air, water and ground (Sub-programme 1)” and „More use of environmentally friendly technologies (Sub-programme 2)” under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 for the Green Industry Innovation Programme (HU-09) ended.

Szent István University as the Programme Operator of Green industry innovation programme in Hungary made the final decision on the projects awarded. The list of the supported projects is the following:

Some application with satisfying professional content cannot receive financial support because of the shortness of financial resources. These projects are put on reserve list.

Applications on the reserve list may receive funding if an awarded project is cancelled for some reason. In this case based on the decision of the Programme Operator the project ranked highest on the reserve list shall be supported.

Each applicant is informed about the decision in an official letter.

CLOSURE OF THE NEW CALL FOR PROPOSALS IN THE FRAMEWORK OF HU09 GREEN INDUSTRY INNOVATION PROGRAMME

Szent István University as the Program Operator of Green industry innovation programme (HU09) of Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 launched a new call for proposals titled „Reduced production of waste and emissions to air, water and ground (Sub-programme 1)”and „More use of environmentally friendly technologies (Sub-programme 2)” on 14th January 2016.

The application deadline was 16th March 2016. Altogether 44 applications were submitted.

After the submission, the evaluation of the applications started regarding the formal completeness, eligibility and professional content of the project ideas. The Szent István University as Programme Operator will make the final decision of the applications submitted no later than 30th April 2016, and the project contracts with the winner applicants will be concluded till the end of May.

NEW CALL FOR PROPOSALS IS AVAILABLE IN THE FRAMEWORK OF HU09 GREEN INDUSTRY INNOVATION PROGRAMME

Szent István University as the Program Operator of Green industry innovation programme (HU09) of Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 launches new call for proposals titled „Reduced production of waste and emissions to air, water and ground (Sub-programme 1)”and „More use of environmentally friendly technologies (Sub-programme 2)”.

The objective of the “Green industry innovation” programme is to increase competitiveness of green enterprises, including greening of existing industries, green innovation and green entrepreneurship.

The programme supports projects which are suitable to the following areas:

Sub-programme 1: Reduced production of waste and emissions to air, water and ground

  • waste management and environmental remediation;
  • water quality management;
  • air quality.

Sub-programme 2: More use of environmentally friendly technologies such as

  • nano-, photo-, and biotechnology, materials, others

Available amount of the call: 4 790 528 €

Project size: minimum 170.000 € - maximum 1.600.000 €.

Eligible applicants: Corporation with legal entity and cooperatives on its own, budgetary units and non-profit organisations as partners

Final date of eligibility: 30 April 2017

Submission deadline: 14 March 2016

The programme aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Hungary and Norway so involvement of Norwegian partners in the implementation of the projects is favourable.

3rd April 2014: Information about the decision on project proposals submitted

 

Under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 for Green Industry Innovation Programme (HU-09) „Reduced production of waste and emissions to air, water and ground (Sub-programme 1)”and „More use of environmentally friendly technologies (Sub-programme 2)” call, altogether 90 project proposals was submitted by 15th November 2013.

After the formality and eligibility revision of the submitted applications, the independent experts have started the proposals’ professional evaluation.

 

The evaluation process is in course of completion, the Selection Committee meeting and after the decision about the submitted proposals is expected in the end of April 2014. The applicants will be informed about the decision in official letter. The list of winner applications will be published on the website as well.
